| Today in expository writing we had to write 100 word sentences with no comma splices or periods. Beth helped me write the sentence...it's pretty sweet....read it...now There once was a little boy who ate cookies which where brown, ice cream which was a very green mint chocolate chip, three pieces of yellow wedding cake, ten slices of green olive, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza, green granny smith apples, two tasty big mac’s, white chocolate fudge with macadamia nuts, one hundred of Ronald Regan’s favorite candy-- jelly belly jelly beans--which lead him to feel very sick with the most excruciating pain the boy had ever felt, and which made it necessary for him to have to drink the most awful, disgusting, terrible, thick, pink, nastiness that the store likes to call Pepto Bismol. |

| Last night in small group we talked about what it means to be "in Christ". I had never really thought about that before... It's amazing.....it boggles my mind sometimes at how much God cares for us even when we mess up.....then we listened to this song last night...the parts that are underlined are my favorite....God is amazing.... In Christ Alone In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm What heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease My Comforter, my All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand In Christ alone, who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save ‘Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again And as He stands in victory Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ No guilt of life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life’s first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand ‘til He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand **edit** I think I want a new xanga name.......any suggestions? |
